The seed of the cilantro plant is known as coriander. Although cilantro and coriander come from the same plant, their flavors are very different and cannot be substituted for each other. Some countries refer to the cilantro as coriander, so any references to "fresh coriander" or "coriander leaves" refer to cilantro.
In Indonesian cuisine, coriander seed is widely used, but not cilantro, and a kind of herbs that has parted as cilantro, is Chinese celery leaves. I started to know about cilantro while I learned about Mexican and Thai cuisine. read more »

I have to admit I dont like the sound of pork burgers, but I bet theyll have a lot of flavor. Sunny starts by making a spice blend with cayenne pepper and garlic powder for her oven fries. Almost four years ago now, I caught myself saying on this blog that I had tired of looking out for Chinese restaurants which were all mediocre and served nothing but the same old glutamate-laden ready-made sauces... would you believe that the same passionate cook has found new love in Asian restaurants lately?
